The Glo2 Facial: The Glow Everyone Asks About
If there's one treatment people walk out of and immediately take a selfie, it's the Glo2 Facial. It's truly one of our favorites at Refinery, because you see the difference before you leave the room.

What is the Glo2 Facial?
The Glo2 Facial is a medical-grade facial that does several things in one treatment. It exfoliates, oxygenates and infuses your skin with targeted ingredients, and in the Signature version it also stimulates collagen.
What makes it different from a traditional facial is how it oxygenates. Instead of blowing oxygen onto the surface of your skin, it helps your skin increase oxygen from the inside.
How it works
1. Deep cleanse. First we thoroughly clean your skin to remove makeup, SPF, oil and the everyday buildup a regular face wash leaves behind. This step is easy to skip at home and it matters more than people think. Every product and treatment works better on truly clean skin. Think of it a bit like priming a wall before you paint: the finish is only as good as the surface underneath.
2. Radiofrequency (Signature Glo2). If you are receiving the signature or platinum Glo2 Facial, the next step is radiofrequency (RF), which gently heats the deeper layers of your skin. That warmth stimulates your collagen and elastin, the proteins that keep skin firm and bouncy. It also increases circulation, so your skin is primed for everything that comes next. It feels like a warm massage, and the collagen benefit keeps building for weeks after your visit.
3. Exfoliation. A small capsule called an OxyPod reacts with a gel applied to your skin and gently exfoliates away dull, dead skin cells. There's no scraping and no harsh scrubbing.
4. Oxygenation. That same reaction creates tiny bubbles on the surface of your skin. Your body responds by sending more oxygen-rich blood to the area. That's where the famous glow comes from. It's your own circulation doing the work.
5. Infusion. With your skin cleansed and exfoliated, ultrasound helps push serums deeper into your skin, where they can actually work. If you've read my post on why acids are the secret to actually absorbing your skincare, it's the same idea. Clear the path first, then feed the skin.
6. Lymphatic detox. Gentle lymphatic work helps with puffiness and leaves your face looking lifted and refreshed.
7. Mask (Signature Glo2). We finish with a mask to calm, hydrate and seal in everything your skin just absorbed.
Lite vs. Signature: which one is right for you?
Glo2 Lite — $199
An express version. It includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation, oxygen infusion, ultrasound infusion of products and lymphatic detox. It's perfect when you want a quick refresh or you're maintaining results between other treatments.
Signature Glo2 — $325
Everything in the Lite, plus radiofrequency (RF) and a mask. RF gently heats the deeper layers of your skin to stimulate collagen, so you get the glow now and a firmness benefit that builds over time.
